Privacy policy
Saved items and notes stay on your device by default. The developer does not receive or sell them. You choose whether to use Google Drive backups.
Policy version 0.3 · Effective October 4, 2026 · Wording updated October 5, 2026
What Another Day saves
When you save, resume, or use learning features, Another Day keeps the relevant URLs, titles, notes, reading or video positions, learning topics, time, records, and drafts. This data helps you organize your list, continue reading, record learning, and back up or restore content.
Reading positions may include text you saved from a selection. Nearby text is saved only when you enable that option. Another Day does not capture entire pages, continuously record your browsing, or run tracking or analytics.
Google Drive is optional
Google Drive backup and sync are still experimental. Data is sent to your own Drive only after you connect and enable the feature. You can save, learn, and make local backups without it.
Backups include saved items, reading positions, learning records, notes, drafts, achievements, and information needed to recover learning. Cross-device sync includes saved items and finished learning records, but excludes ongoing learning sessions and drafts.
Another Day accesses only its own backup data, not your other Drive files or Gmail messages. Backups do not appear in the normal Drive file list. View, download, or restore them in Another Day, which keeps the latest five backups by default.
The connection uses the Google Account signed into your current Chrome profile. Switching accounts on a Google website does not change the backup account. A Chrome profile account change stops transfers until you confirm and reconnect. Account information is used only to show the connection and prevent account mix-ups. Backups do not include sign-in credentials.
Backups and restoration
You can download backup files or save daily and manual backups. Restoration shows a preview and lets you merge or replace content. Restored learning sessions stay paused.
Restoration does not automatically save your current content first. Make a manual backup if you want to keep it. Downloaded files remain under your control.
Connecting Drive starts in backup-only mode. Cross-device sync requires a separate preview and confirmation.
Stopping transfers and deleting data
You can pause backup or sync, or disconnect Drive. This stops subsequent transfers, though one already sent may still finish. Disconnecting does not delete device content or cloud backups. To revoke access, use your Google Account’s third-party connection settings.
Device content stays until you delete it, clear data, or uninstall Another Day. “Clear all data” also removes backups stored on the device. Cloud data must be deleted separately. Uninstalling does not automatically delete Drive backups. Download anything you want to keep first.
Delete cloud data in Another Day or through Drive’s app management. Your device’s saved items and notes remain available offline, after disconnection, or after access is revoked.
How Google data is used
Google Account and Drive data is used only for your chosen backup, restore, and sync features, not advertising, sale, or credit assessment. Another Day complies with Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Google’s data processing is covered by Google privacy policy.
This website and support payments
This website does not read your saved list and adds no tracking or analytics. The Another Day extension does not collect payment information. Support payments are handled by the external platform you choose. Transaction data is subject to the platform’s and recipient’s terms and privacy policies. The website service provider has its own data-handling rules.
Recurring payments are created only when you choose monthly support on Buy Me a Coffee and confirm. Manage or cancel them on the payment platform. Uninstalling Another Day does not cancel payments.
